The village suffers from flood or flood like situation. There was heavy flood in the year 1988-89. Recent flood occurred in the year 2012 destroying paddy fields. Flood mainly occurs from back flow of water from mighty river Brahmaputra, Burhidihing and Sesa-a tributary of river Burhidihing leading to water stagnation for 15-20 days or more.
